Life Journeys: Video Biographies of Terminally Ill People
Since its inception, the Rasa Foundation has engaged with Hospice and Palliative Care patients, securing funding for over 100 Life Journeys video biographies of people facing death.
Combining the benefits of bereavement therapy with state of the art video production, Life Journeys creates video biographies, using interviews, personal photographs, home videos and selected music. Life Journeys videos are facilitated by a licensed Clinical Thanatologist and are an important tool in addressing meaning at the end of life.
Our goal is to preserve people's memories and pass on the story of their lives to those they leave behind. This moving reflection on a life creates a permanent memorial that can be watched and shared with others.

The Bereavement Care Plan: Serving Hospitals and Organizations
Many hospitals and other facilities treating those facing death lack an established protocol for addressing the needs of the bereaved. Because of the lack of information and knowledge of available resources, hospitals often fail to provide compassionate after-care to survivors of deceased patients. The Rasa Foundation recognizes this need and has developed The Bereavement Care Plan, a tool for assessment of needs and and compassionate follow-up planning, utilizing Social Services and trained volunteers.
